Ethiopian Institute of Water Resources has added three academic staff members to its structure. Dr Zeleke Agide who has a PhD from UNESCO –IHE Institute for Water Education, Delft, the Netherlands in 2015, MSc in Hydraulic Engineering Specializing in Land and Water Development in 2007 and BSc in Irrigation Engineering from Arbaminch University in 2001 will be serving as Assistant Professor in Water Resources Engineering specialization in Irrigation Engineering. Dr Shimelis Behailu will be an Assistant Professor in Water Resources Engineering specialization in Hydrology. Dr Shimelis has PhD from Florida International University in Geosciences in 2013, two MSc one in Geosciences from Florida International University and Hydraulics and Water Resources from Addis Ababa University, BSc in Civil Engineering from Addis Ababa University in 2002. Moreover, Dr Saeid Rezaeinejad who Obtained PhD in Environmental Engineering from Nanyang University of Singapore, MSc in Environmental Engineering from University Science Malaysia and BSc in Microbiology will be serving as Assistant Professor in Water Supply and Waste Water Engineering.
